Mega Dukanam respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users, vendors, and partners to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have established this policy to address claims of copyright infringement.

If you believe that any content on our platform infringes upon your copyrighted work, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice as outlined below.


1. Our Copyright Responsibility

We prohibit the sale or distribution of:

  • Pirated or stolen digital goods
  • Unauthorized copies of copyrighted works
  • Resold items without licensing rights
  • Content scraped or copied from other creators or platforms

All vendors are required to confirm that they either own the content they upload or have the appropriate distribution rights.


2. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a DMCA Takedown Notice, you must provide a written communication that includes:

  1. Your full name, address, email, and phone number
  2. A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed
  3. The exact URL(s) or location(s) of the allegedly infringing content on our site
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

3. What Happens After We Receive a Takedown Notice

Once we receive a valid and complete DMCA notice:

  • ⏳ We will promptly investigate the claim
  • ⛔ The allegedly infringing content may be removed or disabled temporarily
  • 📨 We will notify the vendor or content uploader of the takedown
  • 🧾 The vendor has the right to file a counter-notice if they believe the takedown was in error

4. Submitting a DMCA Counter-Notice (For Vendors)

If you are a seller and believe your content was removed by mistake, you may submit a DMCA Counter-Notice. It must include:

  1. Your name, address, email, and phone number
  2. The URL or item that was removed
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed in error or misidentified
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of your local court
  5. Your physical or electronic signature

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant takes legal action.


5. Repeat Infringer Policy

We take copyright violations seriously. Users or vendors who are found to repeatedly upload infringing content may have their accounts:

  • Suspended
  • Terminated permanently
  • Banned from selling on Mega Dukanam

6. False or Misleading Claims

Please be aware:

  • Submitting false DMCA notices or counter-notices can result in legal penalties
  • Mega Dukanam reserves the right to seek damages if fraudulent claims are made

7. Additional Notes

  • DMCA complaints must be submitted in English
  • We will preserve all legal notices and share them with relevant authorities if needed
  • Content under dispute may remain disabled while a resolution is in progress
